1. Purpose of the app and age requirement

Maktab Maqasid is provided for the religious and educational activities of Dar Al Mustafa for Islamic Studies, including user/student questions, review by authorized scholars/instructors and staff, support requests, and account management. The app is intended only for users aged 18 years or older. By using the app, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

• يُستخدم التطبيق لأغراض دينية وتعليمية وإرسال الأسئلة ومراجعتها من الجهات المخولة في دار المصطفى.
• التطبيق مخصص فقط لمن يبلغ عمره 18 سنة فأكثر.
• يجب استخدام التطبيق للأغراض الدينية والتعليمية والدعم فقط.

2. User responsibility

Users are responsible for the information, questions, images, and voice recordings they submit through the application.

• Users must provide correct account/student information.
• Users must keep login details private and not share their account with unauthorized persons.
• Users must not misuse the app or try to access data that does not belong to them.

3. Acceptable use rules

Users must not submit or upload any content that is inappropriate or unrelated to the religious, educational, or support purposes of the app.

• No abusive, insulting, threatening, hateful, or harassing content.
• No illegal, harmful, violent, sexually explicit, or exploitative content.
• No unrelated images, fake student information, spam, or repeated misuse.
• No attempts to upload malicious files, scripts, viruses, or content that may harm the system.
• No sharing of another person’s private information without permission.

• يمنع رفع صور أو تسجيلات غير مرتبطة بالسؤال أو بالهدف التعليمي للتطبيق.
• يمنع استخدام بيانات طالب آخر أو محاولة إلحاق الضرر بالنظام.

4. Submitted content: questions, images, and audio

Users may submit question text, optional images, and optional voice recordings. This content may be reviewed by authorized Dar Al Mustafa administrators, scholars/instructors, reviewers, or support staff for the purpose of answering questions, managing records, moderation, and providing support.

• Question text is used to understand and respond to the user's request.
• Images should only be used when relevant to the account/student record or question.
• Voice recordings should only be used to explain the question or related religious or educational matter.

5. Camera and microphone usage

The app may request camera or microphone access only when the user chooses to use a related feature.

• Camera: used only to capture or upload an image related to account/student or question information.
• Microphone: used only to record an optional voice question.
• The app does not intentionally record audio or capture images in the background.

6. Moderation and admin review

Authorized Dar Al Mustafa administrators, scholars/instructors, reviewers, or support staff may review submitted content. If content violates these Terms, it may be rejected, removed, ignored, or handled according to the institution's moderation rules.

• Authorized staff may review and respond to submitted questions.
• Inappropriate or unrelated content may be removed or rejected.
• Repeated misuse may result in account restriction or removal.
• Users may report inappropriate content, account misuse, or other concerns through the Contact Support page.

7. Privacy and account deletion

User data is handled according to the Maktab Maqasid Privacy Policy. Users may contact support or request deletion of their account and associated app data using the links below.

8. Service availability and changes

We may update, improve, temporarily suspend, or change parts of the app when needed for maintenance, security, or service improvement. These terms may also be updated from time to time.
